Overview
Located just outside Mombasa town, the Akamba Handicraft Village is a cooperative society of skilled carvers and artisans from the Akamba community. Established in 1917, it has grown into one of Kenya’s largest woodcarving centres, producing authentic African art and crafts that are exported worldwide.
