Overview
Voyager Ziwani Camp can be found overlooking a tranquil dam off the Sante River, on the western edge of Tsavo West National Park. The main building leads out to lush green lawns providing sitting areas both inside and outside. Meals take place either inside an open dining area with the option of night time dining out on the lawn, occasionally accompanied by Masai entertainment …with a stone-walled bar nestled in the corner.
The camp has a dedicated club for young explorers that will keep little adventure-seekers busy and educated during their stay while adult safari-goers will have a chance to learn about the culture and traditions of the Massai during evening dance shows put on at the camp. For those guests looking to experience a little more than their safari, visits to Chala and Jipe volcanic lakes or Grogan’s castle can be arranged. A tour of the World War II battlefield of ‘Slaughter Hill’ can be conducted too. Astronomy lessons and a visit to see the historic ‘Sniper Tree’ at Gicheha farm are other experiences guests can enjoy
