Overview
Located in Kenya’s beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park, the Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge stands on elevated land and commands breathtaking views of Lake Nakuru and the surrounding park. The lodge comprises 67 terraced chalets, classically decorated with dark wood, cream walls and vibrant decor. Public areas include the “Flamingo Restaurant” where al fresco meals are served, views of the surrounding grounds complimenting outstanding cuisine which has been created using vegetables and herbs sourced from a local garden. Options are available for garden breakfasts and lunches or in-room dining and bush dinners.
Views of the lake are abundant from the main area and a heated swimming pool, panoramic bar terrace and spa round up the wonderful facilities available at the lodge. Activities include a visit to Baboon Cliff, one of the highest points around Lake Nakuru, breathtaking sunsets a highlight for any visitor to the site. Consider a visit to Makalia Falls on the southern end of the Lake or a visit to the Menengai Crater, an extinct volcano with one of the world’s largest craters and offering adventure-seekers a chance to hike to the top of the crater delivering incredible views in every direction.
