Overview
Artistically situated among acacia trees and thriving grassland, Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge pays respect to the environment through careful lodge design and facilities, creating an oasis of sorts in the shores of Lake Naivasha. The lodge comprises 82 rooms with public areas including a large reception area, a split-level lounge boasting a central and attractive fireplace with a cozy bar located between the levels. Meals are served buffet-style and cuisine served with fresh garden ingredients, a blend of Swahili, Mediterranean and continental styles. Dining can be enjoyed either indoors or al fresco with tables and chairs covered with umbrellas for those wishing to dine outside.
The swimming pool is open on one side to a small restaurant that offers delicious delights such as pizzas and hot dogs for younger guests. The grounds are lush and manicured, a natural pathway and hangout for hippos at night, the shores just beyond the gardens while giraffes can be seen nibbling on the tall trees as waterbuck graze on grass below. Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge includes wedding and conference facilities, has a gift shop and offers activities such as nature walks and bird watching outings.
