After an early breakfast, pick up from your North/South coast beach hotel and depart. Drive north, along the main highway towards Nairobi, following the route of the railway line built by the British late in the nineteenth century. The road passes through the warehouses and workshops on the outskirts of Mombasa, climbing steadily and soon the vast plains of Tsavo become visible in the distance, with the rolling Taita Hills on the horizon. Enter Tsavo East National Park (12,000 sq kms) at Buchuma Gate, here the driver will open the roof of your bus, so you can stand up with the wind in your hair. Welcome to Africa, the safari has begun! Tsavo is the largest national park in Kenya and is split into East and West by the highway. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and later enjoy time for relaxation before setting off back into the park for your afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge as the sun sets. Overnight at Voi Wildlife Lodge on a full board basis.

This will be a full day of game viewing drives. Plenty of time to soak up the wildlife and the magnificent scenery. And we’ve allowed time for relaxation as well.

There will be an early morning game drive. Then breakfast will be followed by a mid-morning drive. After a comfortable lunch we’ll set out on a later afternoon game drive.

Between the wildlife viewing sessions, relax at your Tsavo lodge or camp. They will provide meals and other activities.

Go on an early morning game viewing within Tsavo East National Park until exiting time. Thereafter, together with your driver-guide, depart Tsavo East National Park for Taita Hills Sanctuary, arriving in time for lunch. Check in and later on enjoy an afternoon game viewing. Salt Lick Lodge is a truly unique architectural concept, with luxurious oval-shaped rooms. It overlooks a waterhole which attracts a large number of wildlife, especially elephants. In the evenings the animals gather at the waterhole to drink, a spectacular sight to behold. Dinner and overnight at Salt Lick Lodge on a full-board basis.

This day starts early. After a cup of coffee at 06.00hrs we take a pre-breakfast game drive. At this time of the hour predators are very much active trying to make an early hunt or coming back from a night hunt.Our driver guide will drive you to the open Savanna land to look for Lions, Red-colored Elephants, Leopards, Cheetahs, Giraffes, Buffaloes and many more. We later return to our Lodge for Breakfast and check-out of the lodge. Drive through the park with a last game drive as we check-out of Tsavo East and drive into Ngutuni Wildlife Conservancy. Start off a game drive en-route to Ngutuni Safari lodge for Lunch and check-in. After lunch take your rest till 16.00 Hrs where you proceed for an evening game drive till dinner time. Dinner and overnight at Ngutuni Lodge

On this day we wake up early at 06.00 Hrs and enjoy a cup of coffee/tea. Leave for a pre-breakfast game drive a time when the animals are very much active. You will return back to the lodge for breakfast and check-out. Enjoy your last game drive as you check out of the park. Start-off the drive back to your residence hotel in Mombasa Diani Beach via Nairobi Mombasa Highway arriving later in the afternoon.
