Overview
This 5-day African Safari is deep and immersive, with plenty of time for relaxed game viewing amongst three well-known national parks. The largest, Tsavo East National Park is wide-open with a rugged landscape and distinctive red soil that its herds of elephants are fond of rolling in. The park also is known for lion, leopard, buffalo and many other large and small game.
Nearby Tsavo West National Park additionally hosts the endangered rhino in a specially protected sanctuary. The park is a pleasing mixture of great savannah, rolling hills, unusual baobab trees and verdant, clear springs. We’ll explore the springs for exotic fish, hippo, and crocodile.
Our third stop on this 5-day African safari is Amboseli National Park, smaller than the other two parks but with just as much wildlife to be spotted. Seated at the base of Africa’s greatest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro, the park is popular because of its dramatic vistas and its dense herds of elephants. A photographer’s dream, look for wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, cheetah, and lion.
This medium-length safari provides enough viewing time for a comfortable journey for families and seniors, as well as couples. Let Tuje Africa Safaris know if you have any special requirements or requests. We love to personalize excursions so your trip will be just as you imagined it.
