Overview
Sentrim Tsavo East lies in the south east of the Tsavo East National Park, arguably Kenya’s largest park and one of the oldest. The lodge is humble and rustic, inspired by the designs of olden day pioneer camps, with a relaxed atmosphere that carries through from the main tent to the individual tented rooms. A wonderful viewing deck is located around the main area, marking the ideal spot to watch animals gathering at a nearby watering hole.
The tented accommodation is spread out and set privately deep in the bush with elevated decks complete with chair and table.
The camp is fenced allowing guests to view larger animals such as elephants, at a safe distance and guests can cool down in the camp’s swimming pool which offers plenty of seating and space. Dining takes place in a communal tent-style structure, with canvas walls and reeded roof, and meals are served buffet-style or a la carte. A variety of activities can be arranged by the lodge, from guided nature walks to Masai cultural village visits and talks
